Oran Park Radiology Centre Fitout

230 m2 – 7 week project.

The Oran Park Radiology Centre was envisioned as a high-functioning diagnostic hub that combines precision planning with a patient-centred layout. The facility accommodates five ultrasound rooms, a dedicated procedure room, two reporting rooms, a mammogram/DEXA room, and highly specialised spaces such as collimating, control, and communications rooms. The staff room is positioned to support efficient workflow while maintaining privacy for breaks and briefings. The reception and waiting area were designed to be bright and open, with visual zoning to support patient comfort and reduce anxiety. Careful spatial planning ensures minimal cross-traffic between patients and clinical teams, supporting both infection control and operational flow. The integration of advanced equipment requirements into the architectural framework was a key feature of the design process.
