Altus Medical Imaging engaged us to design and deliver a purpose-built, two-level radiology centre in Gladesville, tailored to accommodate advanced diagnostic services and support operational efficiency.

The ground floor was designed to function as a comprehensive imaging hub, housing an MRI suite with associated equipment and control rooms, as well as CT and X-ray rooms. The layout also incorporates mammogram and DEXA rooms, four ultrasound rooms, a dedicated reporting space, and a procedure room. A child-friendly play corner was integrated into the main waiting area to support family visits, reflecting a commitment to patient-centred care.

On the first floor, the design includes well-zoned staff amenities, an executive director’s office, an operations manager’s office, an administration room, and mechanical/equipment rooms, enabling smooth back-of-house function without compromising clinical flow.

The overall layout and fitout were strategically planned to enhance patient experience, maintain privacy, and optimise staff workflow within a modern, high-performance healthcare environment.
